We appreciate your patience while you wait for your session, and we hope it will be worth the wait. Please read this entire page, every section will provide helpful info about your session.

We know this is a ton of info but we want you to make the most of this opportunity.

**Please be advised that for a Loved Ones session, Rev. Rivera asks that your Loved One be passed on for at least 6 months to a year before you attempt to contact them. If you arrived here and that is your situation please ask us NOW to reschedule for a later time. Let's avoid disappointment if we can. To ask your Loved One too soon to be ready to communicate will most likely result in static and heartache. No one wants that especially Rev. Rivera.

If we missed something and you have a question, please contact us asap.

Reading mode specifics

If you are coming to the Soul Spa

All sessions require a credit card retainer. There is a non-refundable 20$ deposit to hold your spot.

Canellation policy:

If you can not keep an appointment, we are happy to reschedule.
For any no shows or cancels there will be a 50$ cancel fee.

Make yourself comfy and Rev. Rivera will come get you from the seated waiting area once you go in the front door.

Your starting time has been solidified. Please arrive at least 5 mins early. Minimum session time is 30 mins.

Every person should have their own appointment unless you are there to connect to the same loved one/s on the other side. In that case, add 40$ per additional person to share session.

The recording situation

We will text you the day before your session for confirmation....

PLEASE respond to that text so that we know you are still planning to attend/have the session.

If you DO NOT confirm by 12n on the day of your session, we may ask you to choose another day.

Confirmations are not required if you made the appointment within 48 hours of when scheduled.

Confirmations are required in all other instances especially if this is your first session.

*Non-refundable deposits are required for all in office sessions.

**If you are wondering why your calendar invite is for an hour even if you only wanted a 30 min session? We hold an hour so that if you have video difficulties or some other delay, we may not have to reschedule you. Please be considerate and try not to be late.

The recording situation

Rev. Rivera will attempt to record each session as her GIFT to you....

PLEASE record the session as well. Two heads are better than one.

There is no guarantee that her recording will work or that it will get to you, and there are no refunds for her services based on whether or not you can or will get a recording.

We send the recordings files through email. We retain a copy of your reading for 1 week. Files are generally sent on Fridays for sessions held during the week, Tuesdays for sessions held on the weekends.

If you didn’t realize you have reading choices , you will be pleasantly surprised. Here are the standard reading options:

Messages From Angels: Souls of Your Guardian Angel and/or Spiritual Guides bring a sacred vision to share their message about deeper life topics, to provide insight, wisdom and guidance.
Messages From Loved Ones: Souls of Family Members and Friends in Heaven bring proof that they live on.
Messages From Your Soul: A reading of YOUR soul where Rev. Rivera shares a message that was written upon YOUR soul. Your soul can share insights about the past, present or future. This is Rev. rivera's version of an akashic records reading.
Messages From the Past: A past life reading which brings a lesson or understanding of current life themes based on past life understandings.
Messages From Angel Tarot: Tarot cards are used to interpret any questions on any topic for you. ( Career, Love, Family, Health, Finances as general topics or any specific topics you may want to discuss.)
Messages From Ink: Soul level interpretation of any tattoos you currently have. This is not the meaning of the symbolism, but rather a message about why you got this tattoo directly from your soul.
***Messages from the Year Ahead: A "look ahead" reading, this is a yearly psychic interpretation of what to look forward to in the upcoming year. ***This reading can be done any time of the year, but is offered at a special price during Dec/Jan/Feb each year.

Tips for a Powerful Reading:

A powerful reading can be a pretty amazing experience. Of course, working with an AWESOME intuitive reader/medium can take your reading from drab to fab. But did you also know that there are things that you can do to help make your session great? Yep! Check out these tips:

1. Prepare Mentally

Make sure to read the reading options to decide what sort of reading you would like to have. This is your time, energy and money, get the most out of it!

2. Come Relaxed

It’s totally normal to be nervous prior to a reading. However, it really helps the energy flow in a session when you are relaxed.

If you arrive at the party and find that you are a bundle of nerves, take a few moments alone somewhere ( the car, the bathroom) and have a few deep breaths. This will often be enough to help put you at ease. If it doesn’t, say a prayer for centering.

Try something like this:

Creator/God/Goddess…

Surround us in light and love today.

Allow this reading to serve a purpose of healing, guidance or closure.

Create sacred space for us to explore the perfect messages today.

Note About Nerves

It’s understandable to be nervous, especially if you have never been read before. In most of these cases, you’ll relax a few minutes into the session. There is absolutely nothing to be frightened of. Even if something sensitive should be discussed, it will be handled tactfully and with discretion.

3. It’s All About the ENERGY, Doll!

Energy is key to a powerful reading! Keeping the energy flowing during a reading is super important. If the energy is not flowing, it’s like trying to drive a car with flat tires.

One great way to do this is to be open to all possibilities.

While it’s true that the reader should be doing most of the talking, that doesn’t mean you have to sit solemnly in silence. In fact, you should participate to keep the energy going. You can interact without “giving anything away”. Even an enthusiastic yes that makes sense keeps the energy high.

And don’t worry about all the myths like psychics can read your mind – they can’t – so feel free to relax.

4. Don’t Set Yourself Up for Disappointment – Especially in a Reading to connect with a Loved One

Here’s a great example that happens all the time. Someone goes to see a spiritual medium and thinks to themselves, I’m only going to believe this is Uncle Jimmy if he talks about smoking cigars.

I could give you a lot of validating evidence but if you don’t hear about that cigar, you don’t believe it's Uncle Jimmy. If most of the information makes sense, go with it. Sometimes, things might not make sense during the reading, but you’ll have an “Oh, now I understand what that means!” moment later on.

Also...Please be aware that not every person you want to connect to has the ability to come through during a reading. Whether they are not in Heaven anymore (they could have reincarnated), whether it’s just too soon, (please give 6 months to a year before attempting) whether they are unable to attend that day (yes, Loved Ones do sometimes have other things to do…) Please be open to the folks who DO show up for you! They may have info for you, or be able to give you a message from/about your other Loved One.

5. Don’t Take Notes

I always start my sessions by recording. If you are taking notes, you are engaging with the note taking, not so much...me. The recorder will do the work for you, you are also encouraged to record yourself if you have the ability.

6. NO Hangovers! No tipsy reads!

Alcohol and recreational drugs can lower your vibration and negatively affect your energetic fields. For this reason, you should never drink alcohol or take recreational drugs right before your reading.

Prescription and over the counter medication is fine.

7. Invite Your Loved Ones or Spiritual Guides (from Heaven)

Take a moment in the days leading up to your reading to invite your Loved Ones to your session. Tell them that you are going to have an appointment with Rev. Rivera and ask them to join in. If you know the Loved One you want to talk to is shy, soft spoken or passive, they may get overshadowed by others who are louder etc, so tell them to arrange to come through first. Have a word with some of your pushy-er Loved Ones and ask them to step aside for the people you know you want to hear from. Ask your Loved Ones in Heaven to cooperate so that everyone gets a chance to be heard.

*If there are Ancestors you particularly DON’T want to hear from, you can ask them to respect your time and money during your reading, and stay away, but know that if they really need to apologize to you about something, they may still show up !

**Bring an item of your Loved One’s with you ( or a picture), it will help the connection.
